C CKR47 Member Jul 29, 2019 #2 I have a precision Instruments torque wrench, 1/2" .. it's a split beam which is much more accurate. I'm not sure they make a 1/4" though? If they do, I'd get one of those, it's excellent.

sundog Member Jul 29, 2019 #3 I'd try to get a 3/8" drive if you can find your range. Don't get a cheap one.
R racinnut15xm Member Jul 29, 2019 #4 My 3/8 wouldn't fit in the crank case of a clone. I bought a harbor freight 1/4 in one and motor didn't blow up yet I take that back it may of fit but it didn't read as low as it needed to for the specs on the rods

sundog Member Jul 29, 2019 #7 My 3/8 fit in a clone but had to have a 3/8 socket. Won't fit with 3/8 to 1/4 adapter.
