They use in cup cars .one 30 pound block is like $1800 bucks from stock car steel . Pretty pricey , lead is the only way to go for kart .people wonder why it cost $ 25 million run one season in cup car .tungsten is just one of reason why. Stock car steel rents there out for season .

Chase Elliott was DQd in the Snowball Derby a few weeks ago because of tungsten weight in the car.... it is illegal in that series because of cost.... says its $48/lb

Looks like my Horstman axle clutches are worth more for their tungsten weights than their use. How about some U-238 depleted uranium? that stuff is real heavy too.
