Used clone

Going to run a predator next year. One of my friends is trying to get the clone class going at one of the tracks I plan to run. Thinking about getting a clone. Has anyone done one of the you build kits from BMI. I used to build my flatheads so I can do some work myself.
What clutch is good for a clone.thanks

I would recommend buying the kit from Dover power. If you want to do some of the work yourself. For a clutch get with a builder. Ron Rollins @ Stealth Clutches, Ace Adkins @ Holeshot, David Martin @ Martinbuilt, Tim Elits @ precision drive systems, Bryan Carlson is on here often does good work. Palmetto speedshop does clutches, 31 engagements by JPM is another good one .Some will chime in as well with good information. I would say stay with one builder. Weather its clutches or engines.

If your looking to go a cheaper route or the track is looking to have a shoe clutch only rule, I'd buy a Hilliard.
