Valve Spring Change HF Predator 212

Just getting back into karting and have questions. What valve springs do I need for box stock Predator 212 HF? I’m hearing you need to change the valve springs in them to race. Also is there any videos on how to do it or would having an engine builder do it be better. I am mechanically able to do it but just haven’t messed with these engines. 240 lb. driver if that makes any difference. Thank you for the help.

If it's a true out the the box class with the governor, air box and stock exhaust is all intact you will do just fine with the stock springs and prob have an advantage with them. You only want to turn that engine 4900 rpm and stock springs won't float at that rpm.

Poor boy method stuff the cylinder with rope roll piston to the top . Pull rockers . Push on retainer slide off valve . Or Remove keepers if it has them . Do not lose Lash Caps
