Is there any other tire that rolls better than a yellow Vega in wet red clay or on top of calcium NC. Tires with heavy chemical and punching 28 to 35. Opinions welcome. And don't say Hoosier, they come up short after a few laps. (Not enough grip)
 
You can make anything work theoretically with enough prep but for those conditions I'd say Vega is your best choice. They naturally have great grip so prep makes them even better, I just wish there was more meat on the LR. Lol
 
Thin rubber vegas or thin-thick rubber vegas seem to be the ticket at Liberty when they are needed. Vegas have been the king of wet tracks since there debut, I do not think they can be outran on a wet track.
 
Brian thanks for the Hoosier tires. Tried them but the track never got good enough to use them. Awesome finish on them. What do you use to get that finish
