Vega yellow fall off?

We ran a used set of vega yellows (maybe 100 laps on them to start) today..we ran 100 laps in 3 hrs approximately 15 lap runs..on asphalt. The kart fell off the last 2 runs,lost grip going in and out ,kind of skating around.. Did we just push the tires too much? Or would it be the track or set up? The first 75 laps were great....thanks

I say they are toast. We used to get 4-5 race days outta a set, (1) 8-10 lap practice (1) 10 lap heat and 20 lap feature before we tossed em as the times would fall off.

Yep 4 or 5 max.

Probably done. You could clean them up (scraper and sanding to refinish) then re-roll them internally and give them a go again, but they likely will never be as fast as new worked tires would be.

on asphalt sprint, we got 2 race days and they fell off. Third day practice maybe, change them to stay up front. We were constantly scrapping between heats. But we were fast!
