Viper clutch

Just wanted to see what everyone thinks of the 2 disk viper clutch. Is it comparable to the bully clutch

good clutches and can be made better with a good blueprint from your local clutch guy!

Yes: the fact the inner bolt circle is larger allowing a full size key is a plus .
The seperate bushing for the bell , i am not sure i like , but i do have two with that design.

I got one because it was a little cheaper than bully. Just dont know anyone that has ran one

Performance wise, all 2 disc clutches, I believe, are pretty much the same. If they can be set at peak torque, and they don't produce excessive amounts of heat (more than the other clutches) they're all going to perform pretty much the same. Where the difference comes in is in dependability. I have no idea whether your clutch is, or will be, as dependable as others. If it works for you, and is dependable, then it's as good as any other clutch on the market.

Remember; clutches are high maintenance items, don't let them get away from you, clean and adjust after every race.

We have a couple, a 3 and 2 disc, and have been very pleased with them.

The key is to have it set up correctly. Also depends on what friction discs it came with (there are many variations of this clutch on the market.)
