Wanna get more horsepower without porting

Hey guys need some help...got my lo206
Im doing backyard riding & minibike drag racing.
I want to switch out my stock 6100 rpm coil for the 12000 rpm coil.
What would I need to switch out for my motor to still be reliable and not blow?
I know I need a flywheel & rod but what else would I need.
Also if someone can let me know which rod & flywheel I should get.
Thank you

ARC beefy billet rod or WF rod (your choice.)
Flywheel should be just fine. You will want to space the coil air gap up a bit more though.
I don't know that I'd suggest higher compression like Jimbo's kit for just backyard riding. You might consider a mild cam and valve spring upgrade, but as you increase compression, you increase heat and pressure/wear on parts - might not be what you are looking for.

So flywheel... not too big of cam and better springs...would I need push rods.
I really wasn’t planning on switching the piston Just the rod

A shelf to put it on. It would never have a failure there. Just a fall

I hope you understand just because you switch coils doesn't mean you will get 12000 rpm. You'll need extensive re-work to do that. Just sayin'. That being said, sweet ride bro'.

Yes I know that’s why I’m getting a cam for it also. Not really trying to get too 12,000 rpm
But Definitely want more then 6,000 rpm.

For a mini bike I'd look at cams that give you some torque and keep your max rpm below 7,000. You get up too much in rpm you'll be looking at rod problems.

^^^ Good point . Also add a compression release , if not electric start..
The Dyno .255 would be my choice , quick and simple .
