Looking for some one take look at a flathead close to Pittsburgh pa area prefer someone south of Pittsburgh

Whats the issue ?
No power , wont run , need rebuilt ?
Bergfelt is around there .

On another post you were searching for alcohol, you mentioned a gas station up the street had it. Did you get it from a sealed container? Did you rule out if the fuel is bad?

E85 is not methanol .

Just a thought if you had the plug out . It needs to be indexed properly or the valve will close the gap .
Starts just dont run right .

There actually are.
Saterlee Oil (near Marion Center) in western PA has it. There used to be another station not far from there in Indiana, (PA,) but it has since closed down.
We actually stopped at a VP Fuels gas station one time (but I think that was in Kentucky.)
Most speed shops will carry alcohol - just be sure it does not already have an upper end lube already added to it.
You need straight clear methanol to be legal to race a flathead.
