I have 3 loops sitting here ready to be bolted back on one of my many flatties. Only track I know of near me that still allows them is Ben hur speedway. Nothing like hearing 10-15 flatties on the grid with the loop pipe. I miss those days!

Man those loop pipes sound good. I got one started up tonight and it sounds amazing! I could listen to that idle all day over an OHV motor.

It has a very good lope when it idles plus the idle is rich so it sounds very good.

Only thing that sounds better than a stock flathead with a loop pipe is two of em equally matched building RPM down the straights. Man I miss that sound. I get excited just writing about it. Brian you know that sound I'm talking about. What would you call it?

Absolutely there flattop but I was hoping for just a tad bit more of a scientific definition. Although you are far from wrong buddy.
