What gear would you run, engine capable of 9 grand...

Gotta realize 9000 rpm is a tall order no matter how you look at it . Especially for a clacker /4 stroke .

Grab your dyno sheet. Gear the engine to stay at or above peak horsepower all the way around the track.

Guessing the gearing from a video of a unrelated class is kinda fruitless.

Pick a starting point and tune from there.

That being said, if junior 1 are 12/60 on slicks,I'd be 9/63 with my animal open stroker on treads, turning 85-8700

Wish I had a dyno, and the smallest I have is an 11
