What intake and cat back exhaust for 2005 gmc 3500 duramax

Bought the banks exhaust and Intake. Put the exhaust on and removed the cat. Only got about 2 mpg better nothing to brag about. Going to put the intake and scoop on this weekend will see if that helps. Truck sounds good, deff more power but at one point it has less.
 
"Only" got a 2mpg improvement? Last I looked, that's substantial enough to take note of - unless you were getting exceptional mileage before the exhaust mods, that's a bit over 10%, based on what my Duramax gets with my normal driving routes.
 
I was getting 14-15 mpg no trailer. Getting 16-17 now. I'm a 55mph driver. Trailer I was getting 13 I haven't towed yet with exhaust. I keep edge chip on milage. Truck sounds good !!
