What is the best clutch engagement for a restrited red plate Jr 1 clone engine

Need engagement rpms using a surge clutch with gold spring two disk with no bolts in levers

Pretty sure I remember seeing it's like 3200 which was higher than I expected it to be .

2800-3000 is what some clone builders have told me, Ken. I set them up same as a box stock Predator.
Customers have liked them set up there so far.

fasteddie14, I think you need to add weights. I don't think you can get the engagement low enough without.
You could check with Brian Barnes (=good guy) @ClutchBarn on that Surge clutch and see what he recommends.
