What to do when track is slow because of the contain of the track

We got the karts rpms up but the track was really slow, should we change driver on clutch up or down ?

If it's slow because of being Heavy ( softer ) go done one size on the front driver, and higher rear gear, say normal condition is a 15 - 65 to hit your target RPM, put on a 14 - 63 should get ya real close. If it's slow because of Sand or just no bite but hard that's a little different.

And YES I know it's a different Ratio.
