What to do with worn-out Yamaha con-rod

I made this plug wrench over 40 years ago, and still use it. The con-rod is the perfect length to keep myself (or anyone that borrows it) from over-tightening a plug. And, the big end is a nice rounded surface to hit with the palm of the hand to break loose the plug when removing.

I know a mechanic (now retired) who always got by with the bare minimum of tools. Another used to pride himself on the quality and quantity of his tools. We used to call his toolbox an "aircraft carrier". I used to bust him and say, " Those with special skills don't need special tools." Your spark plug wrench seems to confirm this. If you have a torch and a welder, what else do you need?
