which piston

i just bought a 72 mm clone block the reading on the website say the bore is 2.835 and i need to know witch wiseco piston i need any help is appreciated. they sell a 2.833 and a 2.835 and im unsure of witch i need thay both say 72 mm.

With that type of piston the size sometimes indicates finished bore size. The piston will be sized under that to give the recommended clearance. Well that's how it is supposed to work in theory. Results may vary.

ok so it says finished bore is 2.835 but i know thats probably not accurate so should i get the block and measure or just go with the 2.835 piston and rings?

Its a loaded Question . can you hone if nessasery ? do you havea running clearence in mind .
if they say its a certain size it should be question is what is their tolerance .
no gaurentee but the .835 bore with the .833 piston shoud yeild .002 clearence .
now if you hone that will change .
