Not a first place win but a 3rd. It was my sons first race ever jr clone blue plate. His cart was set up for road course, Vega reds. We took both big tires put them in the right.small on the left.(our tires are half as big as everyone else) Right rear out as far as we could age left in rear in, he fought hard for 3rd. Everyone said he was a driver and we shouldn’t of ran as good as we did. Link to his race if interested

It takes a village… and it’s exhausting (as evidenced by the boys passed out in the back after the race). More than anything I must say I’m remarkably proud of this young man for congratulating his competitors when they win, especially when he’s a close second. He even made the very mature decision to forgo the $12 plastic trophy and collect his $27 in winnings last weekend 🥹
