SoCal Dirt Karters has team up with Imperial Valley Speedway in Imperial CA to promote a 3 race winter series on their high banked 1/8 dirt oval! Dates are 1/20, 2/11 and 3/3. Classes are listed below. More information can be found at:

SO-CAL DIRT KARTERS CLASSES AND LOCAL OPTIONS

Flat Kart Classes

Jr – Jr Class


Ages 5-8 yrs. Old

Engine: Preferably using a small CC clone/Predator or comer engine. Kill switch that is easily accessible. Engines must idle

Tire/weight: open

Fuel: Gasoline only, max 91 octane. No fuel or oil additives allowed

Body: Full length rear bumpers and nose strongly recommended (should cover 50% of each tire). Side panels/bars/pods required

**Anything slow and safe. Beginner Class.



Jr. Clone/Predator/KT-100 Can class
Ages: 8-15 yrs. old
Weight: minimum 300 lb.

Engine: Any single cylinder OHV Clone/Honda/Predator. Max 212 CC (no Ghost motors). 4 hole KT Can engines allowed, See specific rules for each engine in sections 20 and 21

All OHV 4 stroke engines must run a .550” restrictor

Tires: Any treaded kart tire allowed, max 6” x 10” rims.

Fuel: Gasoline only, max 91 octane. No fuel or oil additives allowed

Body: Full length rear bumpers and nose strongly recommended (should cover 50% of each tire). Side panels/bars/pods required



** LOCAL OPTION – W2W sealed predator with spec ¾” exhaust, stock airbox and fixed gear ratio allowed – NOT REQUIRED to run .550’ restrictor if “W2W legal”

SR. Clone/Predator OHV Class
Ages: 15 yrs. & up
Weight: 375 lb.

Engine: Any single cylinder OHV clone/honda/predator. Max 212 CC (no Ghost motors). See specific engines rules in section 21

Tires: Any treaded kart tire allowed, max 6” x 10” rims.

Fuel: Gasoline only, max 91 octane. No fuel or oil additives allowed

Small Bore Open – 4 strokes

Ages: 15 yrs & up

Engine: Any air cooled, single cylinder, 4 stroke kart engine (no motor bike engines). Max 236cc. No billet blocks or heads (aftermarket crank, rod, piston, flywheel, ok)

Tires: Open (max 6” x 10” rim)
Fuel: Open

Oil: Open



KT-100
Ages: 15 yrs. & up
Weight: 365 lb.
Spec Tires: BURRIS Treads TX-22 OR TX-33
Spec Fuel: Use IFK standards - race fuel teched per fuel rule 20.28 Premix – 8 oz per gallon Burris castor or blend recommended, no synthetics

Engine: See specific rules in section 20

Ages: 15 yrs. & up
Tires: Open (max 6” x 10” rim)
Fuel: Open

Engines: per UAS engine displacements and rules



F200 4 cycle


Ages: 15 yrs & up

Tires: Any treaded kart tire allowed, max 6” x 10” rims

Fuel: Gasoline only, max 91 octane. No fuel or oil additives allowed




100cc stock 2 cycle sprint combined

Chassis: Sprint/straight rail chassis only (no LTO/offset chassis)

Tires: Any treaded kart tire allowed, max 6” x 10” rims.

Engines/weight:

Kt100 pipe @ 350lbs

Kpv/hpv (per ikf/wka rules)@ 360lbs

Votex Rok and IAME KA100(per skusa)@ 380lbs

Fuel: Race fuel only. No pump gas/methanol/exotics

Tag sprint

Engine: Any 125cc water cooled TAG motor. Max 125cc. Electric start not required. Carb and pipe are open/non tech. No coolant. Only water and Non-Glycol wetting agents example water wetter

Tires: Any treaded kart tire allowed, max 6” x 10” rims.

Caged Classes

250cc Winged Kart


Age: 10 yrs & up (driver’s under age 15 are subject to SCDK and insurance approval)

Weight: minimum 375lbs w driver

Fuel: Gasoline, racing fuel or methanol only (no nitrous/exotic fuel blends)

Engine: Must be max 250cc, single cylinder dirt bike engine, stock bore and stroke from factory

Tires: Any treaded kart tire allowed, max 6” x 10” rims.



**SCDK has the right to add/drop/modify classes at any time in order to provide better, consistent racing

** Classes may be added to any event if there are a minimum of 4 karts for the class
