WKA Animal Rule Question

I could have posted this in the engines forum but figured the WKA road race engine builder types in here would know. I just bought a used Animal from a guy local to me who runs dirt. The normally orange blower housing is chrome. Does WKA care about that and will I get picked on if I make it to tech at a WKA road race?

I have the only chrome engine I have seen on the road racing circuit so you are not allowed to run it. LOL.

They don't care about the color, just what's on the inside.

Early covers were thinner than current covers. As long as its the late model thick wall it can be any color or finish.. Oh this gives me an idea... <tugs at foil cap>

The thin covers were never illegal.

Yes. Up through about Gen 3 I think they were all thin covers. Same as what the Intek engine has.
