I have a set of El tires that only have one race on them. I plan on using these tires to start my season off. I have herd that i should put a couple of rounds of prep on them and wrap them to store until the season begins. Is there any advantage or disadvantage to doing this?

Really would depend on what the prep wants.
For SoCo i do not recommend wrapping. Check with whoever you use for prep and do as they suggest.
