Wrapping tires

I did with certain tires…. If it was an 11 or D10 Hoosier set we had ready for a wet track we would wipe em heavy and wrap em. Anything besides that I do not wrap.

Also another question. After race night the next day we wash the kart and tires off. Next race won't be for 2 weeks. Do you just let the tires dry after washing them. Ive heard some people use WD40 and then prep the week of the race?

Wash and dry your tires at the track at the end of the night.
Then when you do your kart maintenance the following week, clean them again before refinishing (sanding) them.
Depending on what prep program you are on, you may or may not want to prep them right away. With our prep, you will prep them immediately after refinishing with a base/conditioning prep like our Black Bite 2.0.
If you are using something harsh (goat/gree/etc) then you will want to let your tires cure out for 2 weeks before preparing to use them again.
