Didn't even know they made a 250cc race engine.

I called Cody and he said 39 to 43hp on a speedway 250cc Thanks guy's

That's much better then 17 .03 hp.
Kinda figured that wasn't the engine .

Tim, I vaguely remember them running (a 250 twin, I think) at Santa Fe Park in the Chicagoland area. The guy's name was Barry Briggs. You might want to call Bill Cody and ask him. He is/was (don't know if Barry is still around) good friends with Barry and he would know the HP of that engine.
