yellow-vegas-feathering

Yellow vegas on asphalt.scraped with heat gun every run. They have about 60 laps total but looking fairly feathered like an orange peel look..is the tire done?? Or will it affect grip or performance? THANKS

Some light conditioning internal prep will help it tremendously on pavement heat cycling and staying competitive.
Our Medium Rare internal works wonders on pavement tires.

Scrape the tires, and if you wish, refinish them with a belt sander or angle grinder and flap wheel.
It's important to keep fresh oils in tires. Excessive heat depletes the oil in the rubber and then the tires fall off.
Keep an eye on your stop watch (Mychron) - it never lies.
When a tire slows down, replace them.

Brian pretty well covered it, I've only run in pavement once, but learned quickly to do everything he covered....😉
