Yes, We Still Work on Flatheads!

We still LOVE the flatheads!
It doesn't matter if it's for vintage racing or your local Saturday night dirt track, people still love the flathead Briggs engine and we'll continue to support it.
All summer long we've been building WKA/IKF/AKRA/etc. stockers as well as stock appearings, limited modifieds, opens, and more.
It's been GREAT to see all these engines come through our shop, reminiscent of the hey days of karting.
We thank you ALL for your continued business and support, from complete new engines to parts sales - it's all good!

Long live the flathead!

We will be at the Fremont, OH & Carlisle, PA swap meets the next two weekends if anyone wants to drop off engines for rebuilds to save on shipping.
We will NOT be set up as a vendor at either show, just delivering products and picking up stuff.

We have all parts in stock for Briggs flatheads still and will be the last man standing when it comes to rebuilding these engines.
We still love the old school flatheads.
We work on ANY builder's engines, regardless of the name on the sticker.
All rebuilds are $200 +parts.

Give us a call at the shop, or drop me a note on here, email, or Facebook to let us know what you need, and we'll see you at these shows!

Shipping two fantastic flowing flathead carbs today.
Another flathead rebuild is on the bench to be dyno'd and shipped tomorrow.

We are very backed up on rebuilds and new builds currently, but are still accepting new customers.
If you have a flathead engine that needs rebuilt, (any builder,) please send it in so we can try to get it turned around in time for the start of your race season.

Getting caught up on rebuilds (finally.) 3-4 week turn-around currently.
We will work on anyone's engine, despite who built it last.
We can duplicate the previous builder's set-up or use our own.

We've been building competitive flatheads for 40+ years.
Give us a call for your next flathead rebuild!

Installing a flathead sleeve and align boring it today.
We will be the last man/shop standing that still services flatheads on a daily basis. :)

Love me some old school flatheads!

I wonder how the kart counts are at tracks that run flathead classes.
Most tracks have gone to one class of adults @ 360 or 375#. At some tracks it's the largest class, at others it's non-existent.
For some tracks, it takes a big money race to really bring them out, at others it's become more of the budget / entry level / hobby class for guys with 1 or 2 sets of tires to run and still be competitive.
We're just happy to see it survive in different areas of the country and will continue to support the flathead.
