Im thinking about buying a big bore Bock from mike Clements and was wondering if a 2.815 bore would need to be braced,

Haven't had any problems with mine ! Real strong motor. But also depends on head what cc . Make sure to run a fire ring head gasket . Don't turn mine over 7500 rpm unless I have too . Good luck

With that build, your going to want to turn over 8000 rpm to get in the engines usable power range. I would definitely brace it. That extra reassurance is good to have with any open build.

Bracing it might help keep everything it when it goes boom but it won't keep it from going boom, but what the heck go for it why not it can't hurt

Big Bore clones are a ticking time bomb will explode just when. would brace it for sure. would have a honda block instead of a clone block just my opinion
