I'm doing a budget build on a 224, I have a stock head that has been takin down .050 and ported, but still has the 27/25 valves. Anyways I'm gonna run a cam without ratio rockers and was considering a .356 from dyno. I've heard that high duration cams are very hard on the lifters and can wear out the block. I wondered what experiences anyone has had with that. If a .356 is too much, I'm thinking a mod 1 cam would be ideal, it's similar to the .308, but has a little more duration. I just don't want to wear out the lifter bosses.
