Do you have to pull the counter weight shaft out of the engine when planning on turning it 7000 rpm plus? I thought i read that some where but don't remember. Don't know any one who runs one and thinking of building one and just looking for suggestion.

Remove the balance shaft and bearing. Then balance the crank as it will be over 2 ounces out of balance @ that rpm.
