Adjustment carb question

I bought arc blue printed carb from arc. I noticed the brass plug towards
The front was replaced with adjusting screw. Not sure how to adjust and what it's for. Any help - thanks

I think your talking about the"idle" adjust screw . That adjusts the air/fuel ratio at idle .

Most guys set it at 2 1/2 or 3 turns out and never mess with it again, its the idle mixture screw like Sneaks said
