The block handles 25 HP very easily
Block yes but not the crank unless it's supported. Just broke another balanced and nitrided crank on pto. side only making 20.75 hp. I very much suspect flex. How many others have broken cranks. I've seen other brands broken cranks and common was on same side, same spot.

Did you have a 3rd bearing support on the PTO side?

You forgot to mention what rpm's you turn the motor at.
Please include other details like rod and piston, cam, rockers, valve spring pressures etc and some of these other people may be able to give some advise. FWIW

It's a Wf 214cc Je piston lift at valve both .333, ARC rod, spring GP965, revs to 9800. No Pto support but need one now, so any suggestion for a good one. I would have posted a picture but don't know how.
