Animal degree wheel, how is it different from a regular wheel?

Title says it all. I've got a traditional degree wheel, is there any good reason to buy the animal specific wheel?

Personally I use a much larger degree wheel so that I can split degrees to a much greater accuracy detail.

I have some "decals" from Comp Cams that you can stick on your existing degree wheel that have the tech windows on them.
They are 9 inches in diameter.
