ARC Rod bolt torque?

Going back together with my Animal & can't remember how many inch lbs to torque my rod bolts on my ARC rod... Can anyone remind me of what they are?
Thanks in advance,
Ken in Wyo

Ken, the correct torque for these is HIGHLY dependent on what you use for a thread lube and this application is one of the few on a kart engine that is so critical that you don't want to use the torque for one lube with another lube. ARC used to have at least two torques specified for their rods, one for motor oil if memory serves, and one (lower) for another thread lube (probebly graphite based, but I can't remember for sure). Call ARC at 800-521-3560 and get the latest info on torque(s) for the specific lube(s).

I just looked at the instructions with one of my new ARC rods. It says 150in/lbs with moly lube on the threads and 170in/lbs with oil on the threads.

I only tear into this engine once a year. Its easy to forget since I re-use the same rod & don't have the instructions...
Thanks for your help guys,
K~
