Are these self lubing, greaseable, or metal to metal tie rods

So im probably in deep trouble, but I never knew there was such a thing as self lubing bearings and metal to metal, I thought all tie rods where greaseable. Is there a way to tell if they're self lubing, metal to metal, or greaseable tie rods.

Almost all in karting are metal to metal. Self lubricating has what looks like a plastic piece laid in the outer portion around the center ball in them, and greaseable have a grease fitting in them.

Can I grease metal to metal rod ends

Most use some liquid lube and wipe off the excess. No real way to get grease in them.

Spray them with some kind of lube, wipe off the excess. When the heim won't move freely replace it.

 

[Bumpy]

A quality chain lube with the ability to penetrate
would be ideal. I use Bel-Ray.
NOT the chain wax stuff.
You should view the joints as disposable and replace as needed.

Something else I just noticed is that thing looks like it was overtightened and has been eating itself.
