Bad Bully clutch chatter

don't know if this is the right forum ,,but we ran a completely rebuilt Bully clutch last night for the first time and it chattered really bad leaving the grid seemed to get better as the night went along. What causes this chatter, I never ran a disc clutch until they allowed them in our clone class this year. Hope we didn't ruin an 85.00 $$ rebuild. I thought the Drum & Shoe clutch was fine,,, 1/3 the cost and almost last for ever with little maintenance. My drum clutches "will" last for ever now that their all laying in the bottom of the tool box. lol

typically if it chatters on the low end it's trying to engage before peak torque. 1st question would be , what rpm is the tach reading when it chatters and is that the correct engagement for your motor?
