You need to make sure you use the correct snap ring...certain brand drivers use a thicker or thinner snap ring or the spiral snap ring. Also, do not keep using the same snap ring over and over, these do stretch and stop holding tension after they have been stretched and removed several times. That could easily be your problem. The screw does not hold the snap ring in the clutch, it just keeps it from spinning is all...which it shouldn't spin if you have the right snap ring on In the first place
