Bully Clutch question

New to the bully. Just bought a used one . Question ; How many of you bully guys use the retaining ring screws ? Have heard some do and some dont . If you do , do you loctite them ?

no Loctite.
some drums I use them some I do not.
the funny looking bully snap ring I would use them. the full circle type, could go either way.
the bully snap ring has a oval and was extra wide.
they may not use that type any longer, or I have lost them all.
Its all about risk assessment.
they won't cause you to lose a race.
on the other hand losing a snap ring could.
The one here on my desk has one.

Like flattop said, depends on the snapring you have, really. I think you need the retaining screw on the oblong snapring for sure. Others? Probably won't make a difference one way or another -- it does give you a bit of peace of mind though if you do choose to use it and certainly won't hurt.
Definitely no need for loctite.
