bully driver work on greased lighting clutch?

I found an old bully driver in the box that came with one of our karts and was curious if it'll work on a greased lighting clutch
 
"We claw with our finger nails for that inch. Because we know, when we add up all those inches, that's going to make the difference between winning and losing..."
Works in soccer (context) ....not so sure about motorsports.
