I have a older trailmaster mid xrx that I just got it seemed to run fine at first but started chewing up the belt. When I jack the back up and crank it, the tires spin fast! When I hit the brakes, the belt smokes like crazy! Turns out, wrong belt was on there. I ordered a 5959 belt and a new bushing and installed everything. When I first crank it with the brakes on, it's fine, but after about 20 seconds it starts to smoke again. It's trying to rotate the tires. I think the bushing is going into the clutch(driven?) and the belt isn't riding on it. WHAT DO I DO?!!!
