Burris 11's?????

In what circumstances will the Burris 11's do good on a track? How does one know whether to use 33a versus the 11's? Should we expect tiny consistent blisters on a tire when we are using the right compound? Clueless about 11's. We have been running outside prepped 33a's but are considering running or trying 11's.

As mentioned when still moist for sure, or Slicked, Sealed over NO grip situation, real smooth fine silky looking dirt is 3 ways, No you should not see any blistering even if tiny when your on the not only the right compound it's prepped proper the tire will have a nice smooth consistent look across the entire tire. The only way to figure it out is try it and pay attention to not only results certain details of how the track looks to you weather you just proved they worked or you proved the didn't work.

Good Luck !!

Something ive been thinking about. Other than sidewall flex, is there a difference from a prepped 33a and a unprepped or lightly prepped 11. Both punching the same on the duro. Will the 33 have more bite because you can get more aggressive preps in it?

33s will roll better on bigger tracks. 11s work great for bull-ring tracks and lighter weight classes. This is due to the spring rate of the tire (sidewall construction.)
You can build just as much bite in 33s as 11s (regardless of duro.)
I can prep a set of 33s down as soft as 11s, but that doesn't mean they'll be the tire of choice.

Will try some for heat at least. Any need to prep 11's? Since duro is already low on 11's seems like a no prep at all situation?
