Burris Big Bucks Bash July 4th at Liberty Raceway Park, $2,000 to win, with no entry fee!!
Burris Racing is offering a $4,000 Purse No entry fee class, the Burris Big Bucks Bash, at the July 4th race and the balance of the upcoming North Carolina Dirt Series races at Liberty Raceway Park Staley, NC. No entry fee and the payback is to 6th place. Burris Tire rule, B33B or B44B compound only on all 4 corners, no exceptions! Last race had another great turnout and kart count was up again this upcoming one looks to have already exceeded the turnout for the last race which was won by the Tennessee Terror Colby Horner!!
A couple of things to mention. People seem to be liking the B44B compound but some have been fast on the B33B’s. This race there are plenty of tires in the system but to be on the safe side contact your Burris dealer early or if they don’t have them they are available at the Burris Online Store at the link below. As we anticipated, many karter’s chose to run the new B33B or B44B series compound tires straight up (no prep, inside or out!) and despite the moderate weather at feature time many chose to run the B44B’s compound and were extremely happy with the performance and consistency. Another plus to those on Burris tires were the fact that several drivers have stated that they intend on running the same tires at NCDS #2 that they ran at race #1!!! This is unheard of with the “import” tires and the bottom line is you don’t have to win just to break even on your tire bills like other series!
