Does anyone know where I can get the covers that fit on the carb when the air filter is off?

The big box stores may have a rubber seal off for a plumbing pipe that may fit.You may have to use a hose clamp to tighten the cover to your adapter.

yep that's what I use on FH and Clone, animal a 1 gal tinner can screw cap
also some aerosol spray paint cap with a clamp FOR FH & CLONE
