Carb leaking fuel

Hello, I have a B&S World formula engine and I had it running in the unit today and I notice that the green air filter attached to the carb was dripping wet with fuel. Anyone know what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

It could be that the inlet needle is stuck and the carb is running full rich. Was fuel running out the bowl overflow as well?
Common problem - pull the bowl and clean everything inside extremely well with brake clean. You can take a Q-tip soaked with WD40 and twirl around in the fuel inlet to clean/polish it. Reassemble, setting the floats level and the float drop so the floats won't allow the inlet needle to get hung up. That will likely fix your problem.
