Are there any Champ classes in the Ohio and Indiana area for LO206?
Midwest Asphalt Champ Kart Series competes in Indiana, Ohio, & Kentucky. Are there any Champ classes in the Ohio and Indiana area for LO206?
I've heard that Mountain Creek may be adding a 206 champ class to the schedule. Nothing confirmed yet but they tested it last year.I really wanted to start this class in NC... Put a brochure out, got a few bites, but nothing solid. But all you need is 3-4 karts to make a class at most tracks -- call some friends up!
100% agree! You should try Champs on asphalt. They are a blast!
if you give me the tips and tricks on tires and I'll buy a 206 to race there. I'd love to try out the tracks in the CarolinasI really wanted to start this class in NC... D10 slicks have been discontinued to my knowledge. Hoosier has no intention to produce more is what I was told.We ran Hoosier D10 no prep last year. I am assuming that we will do that again next year. The rules still haven't came out yet. I'm hoping that we will be able to get our hands on some this season with the shortage on everything.
Oh wow...That's not good. They ran Burris 11s the season before that. Maybe that's why they are waiting so long on posting the rules.D10 slicks have been discontinued to my knowledge. Hoosier has no intention to produce more is what I was told.
That would not be a good choice for a spec tire at this point.
