FYI:
Track will be race ready regardless of the current rumors out there(rumors are just that, RUMORS). Yes the facility will still be a work in progress, but racing surface will be completed and barriers in place.
With the weather not looking so good early on, we will decide next Monday or Tuesday if we will push back event until the following weekend May 8 and 9.The wet pits are my only concern , we take pride on having a beautiful facility and wouldn't want a muddy mess for the competitors or spectators that travel to race. I HAVE FULL INTENTIONS TO RUN ON MAY 2. with that said IF the ground is still saturated we will move to the following weekend of the 9th and announce it early in the week and possibly run a practice day on the 2nd for anyone wanting to test for the open race AND the NYPA race on the 16th.
