clutch maintenance question

New guy and my son is running a 206 sprint kart. Wondering how often I should be taking clutch off and what does it need for routine maintenance?

I just ran mine two weekends/race days and took it apart and cleaned according to instructions. It looked fine just cleaned the grooves out, lightly sanded shoes and put it back together. I am probably going to stick with the two race routine for cleaning. When I ran a hilliard I cleaned weekly.

IMHO if you raced it you clean. We always want to bring our best. Racings hard enough already

I've never seen a problem of "over-cleaning" or maintenance on anything that is raced.
Do it as often as you can. It sure won't hurt.
