Comer kid kart oil/gas mix ratio

Just got involved with rebuilding a kid kart with a Comer Engine. What is the recommended oil/gas ratio? Can you use the the Pre-Mix that comes in 1 Qt. cans that is Sold in Stores [40 to 1 or 50 to 1 ratio] ? Going to Ft.Wayne this weekend. Thanks

I do 6.5 oz oil to 1 gal gas

16:1 which is 8 oz per gallon. Most use Blendzall in those engines. If you prefer synthetic use redline. That 16:1 can be varied slightly if needed. An ounce to an ounce an a half less upto 2 more. Remember, more oil means a leaner mixture.

Depending on the weather,, base line of 8 oz per gal. If its cold out drop closer to 6 oz. real hot like we run down here you can get up to 9 or 10 oz.
And yes more oil = leaner air/fuel mixture.
Tru-Fuel is no where near the right mix.
