as it turns out, we really destroyed our engine. It was a 96, and came to us w/ the 99 ignition. The 99 ignition is hard to find cheap parts for, and i needed a box, I was tod a 96 box would work well for us, so i bought a complete 96 ignition and ran that. It ran well.

I am piecing a motor together out of spare parts, everything but the reed, carb, and pipe will be different. The bottom end I am using i a 96-ish bottom end I have pieced together. I have my 96 ignition and a 2000-01 ignition I think.

which one has the better curve for what we do ? which would you use ? does it matter much ?
