Downing MO. Race 4/11 at ShowMe Speedway

Sure would like to come down for this but I'm with fatcat, we're going to need some info soon or the whole idea is getting scrapped by our team... This race was a big hit last year, we are really looking forward to it!!

Due to the situation in the Downing area and the racing families involved with putting on this show we felt it was best to postpone this event until the fall. My very dear friend who is the one who helps me make this one go is dealing with some adversity and I just don't feel like we should do it right now. Please keep the Smyser family in your thoughts and prayers as they are one of the most solid fixtures in midwest karting that I can think of.

The club is planning on still having a race possibly and that will surely be an awesome surface but my event will not be until the fall at Downing

Have received calls from various Karters but would like to have some imput on how many karts are coming so we can have the concession stand stocked

As of yet we have received little rain, so we should be good to go

Maybe starting Hot Laps a little late, will depend how the track works in as we will not start working on it until after the storms go thru tonight
