Recently we bought my son a flat kart. After his first practice we decided to get a tilt hub, so I ordered the 3sth. I opened it up yesterday and put it on the steering shaft and I noticed the thread on the steering shaft were quit long and wouldn't allow it to tilt. I trimmed down the steering shaft as far as I could so I could still have the nut attached, but the steering shaft still interferes with the tilt. Anyone have a suggestion on how to get this thing mounted properly?

As long as the safety pin goes thru it's legal
