Ok guys. Hey need at pipe for a champ kart running blue plate. Everyone that I have tried the pipe hits the back cross bar. Help please!!

Clone engin
 
different motor mount, move engine forward or back. 15* vs 7*
raise engine.
find someone to put an extra bend in the pipe .
shorten it , cut rotate reweld.
custom pipe from current mfg with needed changes .
 
Heat the pipe in the bend with Mapp gas, until it is red, put a long pry bar in the pipe, and lift up, to take enough bend out to clear the bar. Can be done with engine on buggy. Have done it several times at the track.
 
Rapp pipe is what we use. Moving the engine forward should help (110-112 links total.)
A change of motor mount may be needed (15* versus 7/8*.)

If needed, you can bend a pipe easily enough by getting it warm. If you fill it with sand prior to heating, it will help prevent it from kinking while bending.
