Expandable garden hose problem

I just almost screwed up and ordered expandable garden hose again.

Only problem with them is it takes water pressure to make them grow and when I hooked a couple together to get the long length I needed the water almost only dribbled out.

Short hose needed ok but don't expect to get any water pressure at a distance.

Don't expect to get water pressure at all from them. We have one and it doesn't get enough pressure to run a sprinkler. And we have city water. Definitely prefer the other style better. I don't care if I have to take 3 minutes to roll it up afterwards.

The only problem I have had with them is they deteriorate in the sun.

More a novelty item .

I have never bought anything that is advertised on informational that worked like it is advertised. Agreed Those hoses are designed to get your money into their bank account. That is very successful.

I've had one for two years, keep it rolled up in a hose reel box when I don't need it. So far, so good

The first one I had for 3 years and took everything I could do to it. It didn’t survive my son borrowing it though
I have two and regularly hook them together with the sprinkler and no issues with supply. Do they come in different I.D.’s?
